Here Are Your Entertainment Highlights for Wizard World Comic Con

Dance, and entertainment personality, Kato Kaelin will be the host of an exciting array, and unique variety, of different musicians, and styles, trivia, dance, and more, beginning today at Wizard World, taking place in Portland, Oregon, Friday, through Sunday, at The Oregon Convention Center. With it, the convention has brought along only the most prestigious guests of both the entertainment, and comic worlds, giving fans a place to truly “feel like they’re home,” this weekend.

They have officially announced a new reminder that includes all of the action-packed details, highlights, and event information for everything included on their non-stop entertainment roster. Wizard World’s inventiveness, and creativity, allowed for a design, and way to continuously keep the event, and fans, actively engaged, and buzzing throughout the entire show weekend. The convention will including both national, and local artists, alike, giving fans the ultimate experience, while allowing them to enjoy only the best in pop culture. The best part is, all of the added entertainment, including “after-show parties,” is included with your ticket, at no extra charge. Unless noted, you’re good to go!

Wizard World has even set-up the ultimate “Kids Zone,” which will feature a vast variety of fun, engaging, activities, that include face painting, coloring, dance parties, and even read-alongs. One of the top, nostalgic, and memorable experiences events that you’re able to share with your children will be Sunday, at 12:30PM, when the one and only, Henry Winkler (The Fonz; Happy Days;), author of the Hank Zipzer children’s book saga, takes the mic, reading to kids of all ages.

2017 brought many changes to Wizard World, and introduced in 2017, as an added feature, the Entertainment Stage, truly enhanced the atmosphere at their conventions, and took the brand to the next level, which has thus far, been a massive hit for the convention. Host, Kato Kaelin, will be celebrating fandom right from the Entertainment Stage, which will be located just inside the main entrance, and will be the center station for a mass amount of the event’s continuously revolving schedule. In addition, others will be spread among the show floor, for your constant, entertaining, enjoyment.

Among the multitude of events, and immensely talented guests, on the Wizard World Comic Con – Portland roster, the convention has recently announced their lineup of entertainment highlights, which include:

Musicians such as, Dallas Brown Band (singer-songwriter), Friday), Thomas Ian Nicholas (acoustic, Friday, Saturday), The Hereafters (Saturday), Riona Celtic and Fantasy Singer (Saturday, Sunday), James Morris (guitar, Saturday, Sunday), Tigers of Youth (high energy beats, Sunday), Cos-Spray, the Art of Cosplay by Graffikartillery & Keely Madison (Friday, Saturday),  Alice in Wonderland Themed Variety Show by FlameBuoyant Productions (Saturday), Jedi Light Saber Stunt Show by Jester Puppets (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and even a Wizard World Karaoke party (Friday, Saturday, sign up at stage).

Some of the most notable, and exciting entertainment to take place within the “Kids Zone” includes:

H.E.R.Os anti-bullying puppet show by Jester Puppets (all three days), Jedi Training by Jester Puppets (all three days), Fairy Activities with Tinkerbell & Friends (Saturday), Storytime with Rey by Rainychick Cosplay (Saturday), Dance Party with Moana by Rainychick Cosplay (Sunday), Storytime with “The Fonz” and “Hank Zipzer” children’s book writer Henry Winkler (Sunday), and even Balloon Animals & Characters by PDX Balloons, Coloring Sheets, Face Painting by EarthFairy Entertainment.

In addition, there will be fun trivia, DJ’s spinning your favorite beats, and cosplay contests for both adults (Saturday), and kids (Saturday and Sunday.
